Dr Maxim Filimonov
Research Software Engineer
Overview
I am a Research Software Engineer working on various problems in Engineering, Research and Software Development. I got my Master of Science degree in 2013 at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in Aerospace Research while being involved in the process of aerodynamics calculations of the new spacecraft. For my PhD research, I worked on graph-based modelling approach for reducing complexity in model-based systems engineering environment and design engineering automation. I have experience in working in the Aerospace Industry, where I was a Senior Design Engineer at the main Russian enterprise for developing airships. Later I worked as a software developer with prime focus on full stack web development. Also, while doing my PhD research I worked as a visiting lecturer teaching mathematics and numerical analysis to undergraduate students.
