Overview
I am an interdisciplinary researcher, with previous involvement in a range of projects on disaster preparedness to strengthen response systems to complex emergencies and to improve disaster policy and practice in multi-hazard contexts across Europe, the Middle East, and sub-Saharan Africa. I work across the disciplines of public health, community education and sociology, specialising in research in conflict-affected environments, and have worked in both academia and with international aid and development organisations.
