Overview

Research Interests

My research is focused on representation theory with connections to algebraic geometry and mathematical physics. Quantum affine and toroidal algebras are deformations of CFT symmetries. These algebras govern many quantum integrable systems. Remarkably, geometric representation theory constructs actions of these algebras on cohomology/K-theory of curtain varieties. Perverse sheaves give a categorification of this story.
