Overview
I am a researcher specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), prototyping, and acoustic-based hand tracking. With a Ph.D. from The University of Edinburgh, my work focuses on creating intuitive, tech-driven interaction methods. I explore gesture recognition, signal processing, and real-time tracking to enhance human-computer experiences. Passionate about innovation, I aim to make technology more natural and accessible.
Biography
Dr Wei Han is a Research Associate at Cardiff University working on the Smart Cues project. His research focuses on interactive physical-activity technologies and acoustic-based hand tracking. He holds a PhD in Engineering and an MSc in Signal Processing and Communications from the University of Edinburgh, and a BEng in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
