Biography
I qualified as an occupational therapist from the University of Brighton’s MSc Health Through Occupation course in 2005.
Since qualifying I worked in a number of occupational therapy positions across the UK including Norfolk, Oxfordshire and the Shetland Islands. I came to Wales in 2011 and have spent the last 10 years living and working in Monmouthshire.
During my career I have primarily worked in generalist and older adult mental health roles. I have special interests in dementia care, integrated working and generalist occupational therapy practice.
Prior to joining Cardiff University in April 2021 I worked as the Lead Therapist for Monmouth Integrated Team.
I am currently the Practice Education Lead for the Occupational Therapy Programmes at Cardiff University and teach across the BSc and MSc Courses.
