Overview
I am a sociologist with research interests in race, education and health. I work with marginalised populations to explore potential barriers for access and equity within institutional, educational and healthcare settings. My research often employs the use of ethnographic frameworks and qualitative approaches.

Research Interests
My research is centred around accessibility, particularly concerning marginalised populations. I hold research interests in the sociology of race and ethnicity, where I explore the experience(s) of Black British individuals in educational settings. I also have an interest in the sociology of health, where I research healthcare inequity, screening and community healthcare provisions. I am particularly interested in:
- Decolonisation
- Pedagogy and practice
- Healthcare inequity
- Internalised racial trauma and mental health
- Chronic and long-term illness
- Screening and early prevention
- Community healthcare provisions
