Overview

I am based in Cardiff University Business School, ensuring effective collaboration between the University's Executive Education Team, business and industry. We do this through breakfast briefings, events, training, and bespoke courses. Prior to this I worked in sbarc|spark in the Business Engagement and Partnerships Team.

A successful Marketer, with fifteen years experience in professional services marketing and communications. An Exeter University graduate in Economics and Politics with European Study, I spent a year in Strasbourg studying Political Science and working at the European Parliament. I then worked for PwC (Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff) and Eversheds (Cardiff). Having completed the CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, I was awarded the status of ‘Chartered Marketer’.

Biography

  • Cardiff University 2023 to present in Cardiff Business School Executive Education Team organising events and training courses for external organisations. Prior to that I was based in the Research Service Business Engagement and Partnerships Team focused on 'Cardiff University Innovation Network' events and marketing activities.
  • Eversheds law firm in Cardiff- 5 years - Marketing Campaign Manager for multiple sectors including Central Government, Health, Energy, Retail and Transport.
  • PwC (Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff) - 7 years - Marketing and Client Account roles primarily for Cardiff and Bristol office external engagement events and then Birmingham Internal Audit Partnerships team organising events and training programmes in the UK and abroad.
