Overview
I’m a Research Associate with the Understanding Risk Group in the School of Psychology at Cardiff University. I’m an environmental social scientist whose research spans psychology, geography, and science and technology studies. My research explores system dynamics of emerging climate technologies, specifically looking at public engagement, equity, environmental justice, and risk. I'm particularly interested in carbon dioxide removal and solar radiation modification, and have conducted research on enhanced rock weathering as part of two major projects: UKRI Greenhouse Gas Removal Demonstrators (GGR-D) and the Leverhulme Centre for Climate Change Mitigation. I have previously conducted research on the public perceptions and sociotechnical imaginaries of direct air capture for my MSc in Environmental Change and Management.
