Biography
Marco Jano has a PhD in Energy Systems from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. Marco is Research Fellow at Cardiff University and Theme Leader in techno-economics and life cycle assessment (LCA) at the Net Zero Innovation Institute (NZII). His research interests include energy technologies, energy systems modelling and policy design. For almost 15 years he worked for Mexican NGOs including the Mexican Climate Initiative (ICM) and the Mario Molina Center for Strategic Studies in Energy and the Environment (CMM) which is a policy research NGO that was led by Nobel Laureate Professor Mario Molina. He was also part-time lecturer at the School of Chemistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
