Overview
I am an Educational and Child Psychologist with more than 20 years experience of practice, during which I have developed experience and expertise in working individually with children, young people and their families and systemically with schools, local authorities and partner agencies. I have a particular interest in:
- working with children and young people experiencing social, emotional and behavioural challenges, including those engaged in offending behaviours
- critical incident preparation, planning and response for schools
- supporting local authoties and schools in Wales in relation to additional learning needs (ALN) and meeting their duties under the ALN code of practice for Wales.
I am currently Co-Programme Director of the Doctorate in Educational Psychology and a lecturer within the school of psychology.
