Biography
I work as a senior trial’s methodologist with a primary focus on optimising and innovating data capture and
management to enhance data quality, reliability, and governance, enabling high quality and impactful clinical
and public health trials.
I lead the Data and Technology team, which includes Data Managers, Senior Data Managers Database Developers and Technology Solutions staff. I oversee all Data Management and Database Development activities across CTR with a responsibility for regulatory compliance, typically supporting around 60 trials and studies at any time. A key aspect of my role is mentoring junior research staff, guiding them at the start of their careers and supporting their professional development.
Nationally, I contribute a member of the UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) Data and Information Systems Operations Group. This role enables me to provide peer to peer support, lead networking events, and develop resources to strengthen Data Management practices across the UK.
