Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry

Overview

-       I qualified from King’s College London in 2012 and completed my vocational training within the South West Deanery.

-       I spent a year working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and during this year, achieved the MJDF from the RCS England in 2014 and following this, I contributed to the development and pilot of the new format of the part 2 examination in the same year.

-       I went on to complete further Dental Core Training; DCT2 at The Royal London Hospital and DCT3 at Guy’s Hospital London, gaining experience in the Additional Dental Specialties of Head and Neck Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Medicine.

-       I achieved my PG Cert in Medical Education from the University of Cardiff in 2015, passing with Distinction.

-       I spent many years following this working as a dentist in a private clinic and hospital on the island of Malta, attaining my PG Cert in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and becoming a Certified Bioclear Practioner.

-       I am a Foundation member of the College of General Dentistry and more recently, I have achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
