Overview
I am an interdisciplinary researcher in the school of social sciences, with particular interests in marginality and inequality, ethnography and qualitative research more broadly, and symbolic interactionism.
My PhD research explored interactional barriers to exiting homelessness by undertaking an ethnography of a homeless hostel. I am currently working as a Research Associate on two projects: the first is an evaluation of a housing first project for young people experiencing homelessness in Wales, and the second is an evaluation of parental advocacy projects across England.
