Overview
I am a PhD student exploring the relationship between brain structure and function using advanced neuroimaging techniques, with a particular focus on clinical populations. My research focuses on using multimodal imaging approaches, combining magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetoencephalography (MEG) to explore how MRI-derived cerebral microstructural indices—such as degree of myelination and axonal diameter—affect the speed of neural signal conduction. By integrating microstructural MRI with MEG-based conduction delay measurements, my work aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how tissue abnormalities, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases like multiple sclerosis (MS), impact brain structure and function.
