Overview
I am a recent PhD graduate here at Cardiff with an interdisciplinary practice which includes: critical theory, artistic practice and art history, AI and the digital humanities, translation, and media. I have teaching and supervision experience in English Literature, Media and Communications, and Creative Writing.
My doctoral thesis considered the Exegesis of Philip K. Dick—his mammoth, asymmetrical final project and religious tractate—as a form of critical writing; I used the critical project of Walter Benjamin to demonstrate how Dick's hypergraphia produced a form of writing uniquely suited to its target: absolute human experience.
