Career Overview
I am a Chilren's nurse and Senior Lecturer within the School of Healthcare Sciences. I have worked at Cardiff University (and before that the University of Wales College of Medicine) since 1999. Prior to this my clinical background was in Children's nursing, having worked in Paediatric Cardiac Critical Care and Paediatric Critical Care in Liverpool, Bristol and Cardiff. I am an experienced nurse educator working with students on the undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate research programmes. My research interests are around children, young people and families who have experienced congenital heart disease, children's critical care and qualitative research methods. I welcome reseach degree enquiries from students who share my interests.
