Overview
Greg is a Research and Development (R&D) Producer at media cymru, providing support for project delivery and wider programme coordination, he leads on environmental sustainability and virtual production.
Prior to Media.Cymru Greg was R&D Producer for at Clwstwr, a media innovation cluster within the Creative Industries Clusters Programme. Before this he worked in the media industry for over 20 years, in production, producing, studios, festivals and events. Roles include Studio Manager and Production Liaison for Bad Wolf at Wolf Studios Wales during the filming of ‘His Dark Materials’ and 'A Discovery of Witches’, Line Producer for Chris Crow’s ‘The Lighthouse’, Coordinator for Sky’s ‘Stella’, Production Liaison Executive for Wales Screen, Production Executive for Dragon Digital, and Project Manager for training initiatives for Ffilm Cymru, the BFI Network, and the ‘In the Room’ screenwriters lab at Hay on Wye. Whilst at Clwstwr, Greg led on securing the Albert Screen New Deal: Transformation Plan Wales pilot and is a member of the forum and working groups, he also led on the ‘Animation and the Climate Emergency’ Event in collaboration with Cardiff Animation Festival and the AHRC. Greg is Co Investigator on the XR Network+ Virtual Production in the Digital Economy project.
