Overview
I am a Research Development Manager in The Research Service, facing the College of Physical Sciences and Engineering at Cardiff University.
I have broad experience of working in research, from post-doc, to independent and externally-funded research fellow, to College Research Development Manager.
I support people who are developing their ideas for externally funded research grant proposals and I lead on research grant calls with an institutional limit and also EPSRC funding.
In my previous role as Deputy Business Manager for the PVC-RIE, I was involved with setting up University working groups around Research culture, including the DORA working group (Declaration of Research Assessment) and the Research Culture working group, and helped to draft the initial Research Culture action plan.
I am passionate about promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in research practices.
