Overview
I am a poet, translator and occasional essayist.
I have published two collections with Bloodaxe Books: Jinx (2018), which deals in trickery, gameplay, masks and costume, and I Think We’re Alone Now (2023), which investigates ideas of intimacy.
My work is included in a number of anthologies, and most recently in 100 Queer Poems (Penguin, 2022), Poems of the Decade (Faber, 2021), No, Love is Not Dead (Hachette, 2021), and Staying Human (Bloodaxe, 2020).
My research interests include contemporary poetics, wordplay, and inter- and intralingual translation; I welcome applications from PhD candidates in these areas.
