I completed my PhD at the University of York in 2018.
I joined Cardiff University in 2018, and I have been the UG Director of Studies since 2022.

Research
My linguistic research has focused on variation and change in Dutch; it has been published in Taal en Tongval and presented at various international conferences. More recently, I have also been researching assessment and feedback practices in Higher Education.
Teaching
I usually teach modules in the areas of phonetics, sociolinguistics, stylistics, and discourse.
