Overview

I am a PhD researcher funded by the EPSRC and UNDO investigating novel methods for measuring enhanced rock weathering (ERW).

The project uses geochemical approaches such as total cation accounting (TCA), sequential extraction, and isotope analysis (Sr, Li) to better understand the movement of weathering products and how we can quantify weathering rates. This will contribute to a standardised measurement framework for ERW and bring us closer to its introduction as a climate mitigation tool.
