Overview
I'm data governance & analytics professional working at the intersection of social and health care research. With experience spanning academic research and regulatory compliance roles in banking and fintech, I specialise in transforming complex, sensitive data into trustworthy, actionable insight.
I currently lead data management, governance, and analytics for SAFE@HOME, an NIHR-funded mixed-methods realist study exploring safety, risk, and the balance of harms and benefits in home-based care.
I'm also a member of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Patient Safety Learning and Improvement, based in the Department of Population Medicine at Cardiff University's School of Medicine. The Centre supports the World Health Organization in learning from how Member States implement the WHO Global Patient Safety Action Plan, and in strengthening patient safety incident reporting and learning systems worldwide.
Previously, in banking and fintech, I led the implementation of regulatory initiatives for one of the largest US banks and built machine learning solutions for credit risk and model-risk compliance, strengthening how major institutions govern and report risk data.
I'm passionate about the responsible use of data, AI, and emerging technologies, not only to make care safer but to drive meaningful improvements in social, health, and environmental outcomes.
