Teams and roles for Lawrence Raisanen
Senior Data & Analytics Manager
Overview
I am currently a senior data analyst, research associate, at the Centre for Trials Research (CTR) at Cardiff University: which is the largest group of academic clinical trials staff in Wales, and has earned full UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) registered status. The Centre tackles the big diseases and health concerns of our time, including growing resistance to antibiotics, early cancer diagnosis and how to eliminate health inequalities. It achieves this by forming partnerships with researchers and building lasting relationships with the public, whose participation is essential for the success of studies.
I support the CTR in programming reporting and analyses tools for our clinical and routine databases, support data management in delivering clean and organised datasets, and support the statistics team with data analyses, preparation of trial reports, presentations and publications. I work on optimising data integration and software interlinkage for analysis, data monitoring, and reporting.
