Overview
I am a Research Associate statistician in the Division of Population Medicine.
I have a keen interest in causal statistical methodology, in particular, applied to chronic lung disease. I am also interested in the challenges and opportunities provided by routinely collected health data.
I am currently working on:
- The PRECIOUS study (Preterm Caesarean/Vaginal Birth &IVH/Outcomes), using Target Trial Emulation to establish whether mode of birth reduces the risk of death or brain injury in very preterm babies.
- The Myocardial Infarction and Stroke Subsequent tO URInary tract infection (MISSOURI) project, using self-controlled case series methodology to investigate causal links between UTI and MI or stroke.
