Overview

My duties as Postgraduate Research Office Manager, in the School of Engineering include:

• Managing the activities of the PG Research Admin Office;
• Providing advice and guidance on student management processes and procedures to both postgraduate students and academic Staff;
• Co-ordinating student management processes and procedures;
• Providing  support to the Director of PGR Studies in the management of PGR students, extenuating circumstances and resolution of complex student cases;
• PGR Student Complaint Co-ordinator;
• Managing the Ethical Review Application process;
• Providing advice and guidance to School staff in the administration and monitoring of academic, and PGR visitors, to ensure compliance with University and external bodies legislative requirements (e.g. UKVI);
