Biography

I started my career with a PhD in education history at the University of Manchester and then at the National Institute of Educational Research. I've been at Cardiff University since the mid-2000s in a number of different roles related to education development, and I've loved the opportunities to work across disciplines and exciting projects. I set up the CUROP programme, led the University's first massive open online courses, supported 10+ staff to win National Teaching Fellowships and led teams across digital education and curriculum design teams. I became a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2021.
