Overview

I am Finnish and German married to an Italian with four children born in Wales. I speak fluent Finnish, German, English, French and Italian. I studied International Relations in Geneva, first at Geneva University and then at the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies. I obtained a Master in International Relations in 2008. I worked for the UNHCR in Morocco in 2009-2010.

I started a PhD at Cardiff University Law School in 2010, which I have currently interrupted. I am now a tutor for Law of the European Union and Public International Law. I have been previously teaching as a student demonstrator from 2012-2016.

My main research interests lie in human rights law and refugee law. My PhD thesis was on the human rights of unaccompanied minors in the European Union.
