Overview

I was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn in 2001, having completed the Bar Vocational Course at Cardiff University.

I completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test when I joined Leo Abse & Cohen Solicitors working within the Trade Union Employment Department. In 2005 I became the youngest in the UK to qualify as a Solicitor-Advocate (All Higher Courts).

In 2009 I transferred back to the Bar as a tenant with Angel Chambers, Swansea, before moving in 2010 to River Chambers, a specialist Employment set, advising & representing Claimants and Respondents in Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunals. I currently remain as a Door Tenant.

In 2021 I joined the RAF as a Legal Officer which included advising on Employment, Criminal & Public Law; and a posting during the latter part of 2023 as Chief Legal Advisor to the RAF for the Middle East, advising on Operational and International Humanitarian Law.

In 2024 I attained Level 6 (Graduate) in Leadership & Management from City & Guilds.
