Overview
I qualified as a solicitor in 2007. I left private practice in 2015, at which time I was a Partner in a law firm, to join the University of South Wales as a Lecturer in Legal Practice.
I joined the Centre for Professional Legal Studies in May 2022. I am the Deputy Course Leader for the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
I specialise in Family Law and I have a particular interest in vocational and clinical legal education.
Research
The Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 – will it protect victims of domestic abuse, and simplify the process for litigants in person? Sweetman G and Moroy S D, Family Law Journal (November 2021)
Teaching
I teach a variety of modules on courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
