Overview
JoAnn joined Cardiff Business School in 2025. She completed her PhD in Economics at the University of Glasgow, where she was funded by The Productivity Institute. Her research focuses on employment, productivity, and economic uncertainty. She currently works on the Nuffield Foundation–funded project Musculoskeletal Conditions, Employment Retention and Job Quality with Professor Melanie Jones.
