Overview
I am a Research Associate at the Wolfson Centre for Young People's Mental Health focusing on developmental models of depression and anxiety using population cohorts. Since joining Cardiff University in 2019, I have worked with the WISERD Education project to explore risk factors and patterns of school exclusion using secondary administrative data from England and Wales, as well as, HealthWise Wales, focusing on the linkage of health and lifestyle data and administrative data to answer questions about population health and wellbeing. My research interests include record linkage and data analysis, especially around issues regarding young people's mental health and wellbeing at a population level. Additionally, I have been involved in different projects investigating carer burden and how it relates to their physical and mental health.
