Overview
I started teaching Japanese in the University of Limerick, Ireland, in 2007. I also taught a program in the Post-Primary language initiative and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland. This was all great experience. I moved my base to the U.K. in 2012 and have been teaching in colleges and universities around Bath, Bristol and Cardiff.
Currently I am teaching in Cardiff university and the University of Bristol. I also am a GCSE/A-Level Japanese examiner.
In addition to teaching Japanese as a foreign language here in the School, I have the first grade teacher’s (shihan) licence in Japanese calligraphy and traditional arts.
