Biography
Nima is a Research Software Engineer at Cardiff University and a PhD student. He is currently conducting research on data-driven methods and surrogate models for emissions modelling. He holds a master's degree in data science from the University of London and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Nima is an active member of the data science group within the CLEETS project and has contributed over the past two years to the EPSRC UK National Edge Artificial Intelligence Hub, collaborating with Newcastle University, where his work has focused on securing electric vehicle charging infrastructure at the edge of the grid. Nima’s research interests encompass the innovative application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to real-world challenges in sustainability and smart infrastructure, with technical expertise in simulator and digital twin design, as well as cloud and edge computing.
