Teams and roles for Paul Vallance
Research Associate, Wales Centre for Public Policy
Overview
I joined Cardiff University in November 2023 as a research associate in the Wales Centre for Public Policy (WCPP). Here I mainly work on questions related to evidence-based policymaking and the impact of knowledge brokering organisations such as the WCPP. My background is in the field of regional economic development, but I have broad experience of interdisciplinary and policy-focused research in the social sciences. Before joining Cardiff University, I worked at Newcastle University, the University of Sheffield, and the University of Birmingham.
