Research
My current research project is titled "Targeted memory reactivation (TMR) in phasic REM sleep for enhancing emotional processing and its effect on emotional memories". The aim of this study is to better understand the interplay between sleep and emotional states and investigate how targeting a specific time window of sleep can impact emotional processing as well as emotional memories in healthy participants.
Teaching
One of my current responsibilities at Cardiff University is that of a Postgraduate tutor.
My role is to prepare 1st year psychology students for an academic career and my responsibilities include supporting student development in areas of: report writing; research methods; stimulus presentation skills; understanding statistics; communication skills and group work.
