Biography
As the Engagement Manager for the School Health Research Network (SHRN), I am responsible for supporting the delivery of the SHRN engagement strategy. This involves working collaboratively with our partners, including schools across Wales, Public Health Wales, and the Welsh Government. My role includes organising knowledge exchange activities and SHRN communications to ensure our partners share ideas and expertise. I work closely with schools to highlight the impact of SHRN and promote evidence-based practices to enhance learner health and well-being.
Previously, I was a Project Manager in the third sector, supporting national programmes aimed at supporting and improving practice and policy outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and families. This role involved facilitating co-production within the social care sector, and managing local, regional, and national stakeholder networks.
Additonally, I have contributed to several publications and research studies with DECIPHer and CASCADE, supporting public engagement and knowledge exchange activities.
