Research
I have conducted my research on the far-right movements in Japan, or Action Conservative Movements. Through psychosocial analysis of the activists' life stories, I have tried to uncover the attraction of the far-right teaching and their street activities to some individuals.
I am currently researching the perpetration of and victimization in frauds in Japan, such as 'special fraud' (tokushu sagi) which has been a major social issue.

The subjects I am currently teaching include:
Biological, Psychological and Sociological Positivism for the Foundation of Contemporary Criminology module (for first-year undergraduate students)
Hate crime and fraud for the Offending and VIctimisation module (for second-year undergraduate students)
Hate crime for the International and Transnational Crimes module (for master students)
