Overview

I am a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Informatics at Cardiff University. I obtained my PhD degree in Natural Language Processing (a branch of AI) at the Computer Science department at the University of Liverpool. Previously, I received my MSc in Big Data and High Performance Computing at the University of Liverpool.

My research interests are broadly in ethics, bias and fairness in NLP as well as natural language understanding, such as lexical semantics, language representation learning, multimodality, commonsense reasoning, multilingual approaches, text generation, interpretability and analysis of models.
