Trosolwyg
Mae Dr Taylor Annabell yn ymchwilydd llywodraethu platfform a diwylliant digidol, ac yn Ddarlithydd (Addysgu ac Ymchwil) yn Ysgol Newyddiaduraeth, y Cyfryngau a Diwylliant Caerdydd, sy'n addysgu dulliau ymchwil ar draws y rhaglenni BA ac MA.
Mae ei hymchwil yn archwilio cymdeithas platfform, gan edrych ar sut mae gwahanol fathau o actorion - pobl fel defnyddwyr personol a dylanwadwyr fel crewyr monetized - yn ymgysylltu â llwyfannau, a sut mae rhyngwynebau platfform, systemau algorithmig, a chyfundrefnau llywodraethu yn siapio'r hyn sy'n bosibl iddynt.
Mae gan Taylor ddiddordeb mewn deall sut mae arferion a llafur ar-lein yn rhan o fywydau bob dydd wrth i ni wrando ar gerddoriaeth ar Spotify, cofio ein hunain trwy Instagram ac atebion prydlon gan offer gen-ai, yn ogystal â sut mae rhannu cynnwys yn cael ei weithredu'n broffesiynol ac o bosibl monetized wrth i ddylanwadwyr ddiddanu, addysgu, gwleidyddiaethu a gwerthu i ni. Mae hyn yn golygu ymdopi â phŵer llwyfannau ac, yn benodol, archwilio'n feirniadol sut mae cwmnïau platfform a Phrif Swyddog Gweithredol Big Tech yn sefydlu ac yn gorfodi rheolau, ac yn ymateb i fframweithiau cyfreithiol.
Mae Taylor yn gyd-olygydd The Hashtag Hustle: Law and Policy Perspectives on Working in the Influencer Economy, sydd ar gael mynediad agored yng nghyfres Elgar Law, Technology and Society. Mae'r llyfr hwn yn taflu goleuni ar agweddau diwylliannol, economaidd a chyfreithiol creu cynnwys fel math o lafur, gan ymchwilio i bryderon ynghylch amodau gwaith, amddiffyn gweithwyr, a statws y berthynas waith.

- Mae Prif Swyddog Gweithredol Big Tech, diwylliant crëwr a phŵer rhwydwaith gyda Dr Rianne Riemens (Prifysgol Utrecht) yn archwilio pryd a sut mae wyth techbro yn ymddangos yn y cyfryngau ar gyfer chwe mis cyntaf 2025, gan olrhain eu defnydd o'r cyfryngau cymdeithasol, ymgysylltu â newyddiadurwyr a chrewyr mewn podlediadau, cyfryngau darlledu a phrint, a'u cyflwyniadau cyhoeddus mewn cynadleddau a digwyddiadau. Yn seiliedig ar y dadansoddiad cynnwys a disgwrs, rydym yn trafod pŵer rhwydwaith y Prif Weithredwyr a'r crewyr, gan fyfyrio ar faterion atebolrwydd yn y dirwedd cyfryngau, lluosogrwydd perfformiadau hunaniaeth, ac aliniadau gwleidyddol a strategaethau gydag actorion geopolitical.
- Mae damcaniaethu gwacáu platfform mewn cymdeithas ddigidol gyda'r Athro Crystal Abidin (Prifysgol Curtin) yn datblygu fframwaith dadansoddol i ddeall tynnu'n ôl ac ymfudo defnyddwyr ar lwyfannau cyfryngau cymdeithasol fel mater o lywodraethu platfform. Gan ddefnyddio'r gwaharddiad TikTok fel enghraifft ddarluniadol, rydym yn cynnig camau gwacáu platfform: ysgogi, memeteg gwacáu, cofio platfform, arweinyddiaeth gwacáu a galwadau llen, gan dynnu sylw at rôl hanfodol crewyr.
- Llywodraethu diwylliannau prydlon gyda Dr Rebecca Scharlach (Prifysgol Bremen) damcaniaethau llywodraethu ysgogi, gan archwilio sut mae awgrymiadau yn llywodraethu rhyngweithio ac yn cael eu llywodraethu gan gwmnïau technoleg. Mae ein dadansoddiad o apiau dyddio, llwyfannau cyfryngau cymdeithasol a chatbots gen-AI yn ymdrin â'r rôl amlwg y mae ysgogi yn ei chwarae fel rhyngweithio o lywodraethu a strategaeth ymgysylltu, a'r defnyddiwr hunan-optimeiddio y mae'n rhyngddynt.
