Rwy'n Gydymaith Ymchwil yn y Labordy Data Addysg o fewn WISERD (Sefydliad Ymchwil a Data Cymdeithasol ac Economaidd Cymru). Rwy'n gweithio gydag Ymchwil Data Gweinyddol (ADR) Cymru i archwilio deilliannau addysgol i bobl ifanc, yn enwedig o ran cyrhaeddiad, presenoldeb, allgáu a dewis pwnc.
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar brofiadau a chanlyniadau addysgol pobl ifanc. Yn benodol, sut mae gwahanol ffactorau yn llywio cyrhaeddiad, diddordeb, dewis pwnc ac ymdeimlad o gyfle pobl ifanc.
Cwblheais fy PhD mewn Addysg Ffiseg ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd lle llwyddais i werthuso ymyriadau i wella ymgysylltiad disgyblion ysgolion uwchradd â'r cwricwlwm ffiseg. Ers hynny, rwyf wedi parhau i weithio ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd ar amrywiol brosiectau addysg ar raddfa genedlaethol a rhyngwladol. Mae hyn wedi cynnwys prosiectau sydd wedi'u cynllunio i wella cyfleoedd disgyblion mewn gyrfaoedd gwyddoniaeth, technoleg, peirianneg a mathemateg (STEM) a mynediad atynt, ac ymchwil i hyfforddi a datblygu gweithwyr gofal iechyd proffesiynol.
