Rwyf yn seiciatrydd ac ymchwilydd gyda’r Adran Plant a Phobl Ifanc, Adran Meddygaeth Seicolegol a Niwrowyddorau Clinigol.
Rwyf â diddordeb mewn ymchwil a gwaith clinigol o blentyndod i fywyd oedolyn, ac anawsterau iechyd meddwl yn yr adeg drawsnewidiol allweddol yma. Rwyf wedi fy hyfforddi mewn seiciatreg ar gyfer plant/pobl ifanc ac oedolion. Rwyf hefyd a diddordeb yn rôl y cyfryngau gweledol a digidol yn y byd iechyd meddwl, ac wedi astudio darlunio a dylunio graffeg yn Central St Martins a Phrifysgol Kingston (Llundain).
Yn 2018, fe dderbyniais wobr o Gymrodoriaeth Ôl-Ddoethuriaeth gan y Sefydliad Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Ymchwil Iechyd (SCYI) ac Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru (YIGC) – i ddatblygu yn bellach rhaglen ddigidol ar gyfer iselder ym mhobl ifanc ac i arwain treial ohoni. Cafodd y rhaglen ei ddatblygu yn wreiddiol fel rhan o Gymrodoriaeth Ymchwil Doethurol SCYI/YIGC (2013-2017). Yn 2022, enillais y wobr 'Digital Innovation Award for Best Research on Digital Impact' gan yr 'Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health' (ACAMH).Yn 2024, derbyniais 'Wobr Ymchwilydd sy'n Datblygu (Advancing Researcher Award)' gan YIGC i ddatblygu fy ngwaith ymhellach ym maes iechyd meddwl digidol a phontio (plant/glasoed i oedolion).
Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio ar brosiectau megis astudiaeth SWELL Canolfan Wolfson ar gyfer Iechyd Meddwl Pobl Ifanc, yr astudiaeth i ragfynegi iselder ym mhobl ifanc (‘EPAD study’), astudiaeth PAMAd i werthuso gwasanaethau iechyd meddwl yn Georgia, rhwydwaith iechyd meddwl pobl ifanc TRIUMPH, a chyd-ddatblygiad adnoddau digidol ADHD. Rwy’n gynghorydd seiciatreg ar gyfer gwasanaeth cymorth iechyd meddwl Canopi ar gyfer staff y GIG a gofal cymdeithasol.
