Cefais fy recriwtio i Gaerdydd yn 2003 a chefais y dasg o sicrhau cyllid i sefydlu ac arwain Cyfleuster Proteomeg newydd. Roedd hyn yn llwyddiannus ac, fel Arweinydd Academaidd Cyfleuster Proteomeg CBS, roeddwn yn gyfrifol am ystod eang o brosiectau mewn cydweithrediadau estynedig gyda llawer o ymchwilwyr Caerdydd a chleientiaid allanol tan 2014. Roeddwn hefyd yn Gyfarwyddwr Gwyddonol Ovasort Ltd, a oedd â diddordeb yn bennaf mewn dewis rhyw sberm mewn da byw (2005-2009).
Rwy'n gyn-ymchwilydd (nodweddiad proteomig a swyddogaethol celloedd sberm mamalaidd wrth ffrwythloni) ac roeddwn yn Olygydd Cyswllt ar gyfer dau gyfnodol: Molecular Human Reproduction (2013-2016) ac Atproduction (2013-2023). Cyn Caerdydd roeddwn yn Uwch Gymrawd Ymchwil yn Uned Beichiogi â Chymorth y GIG Prifysgol Birmingham a Birmingham (2000-2003) ac yn Gydymaith Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol yn Uned Beichiogi â Chymorth y GIG ym Mhrifysgol Birmingham a Birmingham (2000-2003) ac yn Gydymaith Ymchwil Ôl-ddoethurol yn y Prifysgol Sheffield (1993-2000). Roedd y rolau amrywiol hyn hefyd yn cynnwys ystod eang o brosiectau ymchwil yn atgenhedlu mamalaidd a sawl blwyddyn yn gweithio ar brosiectau masnachol.
Cynhaliwyd fy PhD (1994) ar fiocemeg angorau glycolipid mamalaidd fel Cynorthwyydd Ymchwilym Mhrifysgol Leeds ac roedd hefyd yn golygu treulio amser estynedig gyda chydweithwyr ym Mhrifysgol Dundee . Cyn hyn roeddwn yn Gynorthwyydd Ymchwil ym Mhrifysgol Efrog (1989-1990) lle ymchwiliais i fiocemeg tiwb Fallopaidd mewn cydweithrediad â chydweithwyr yn Ysbyty Hammersmith. Yn olaf, astudiais hefyd ar gyfer fy ngradd gyntaf ym Mhrifysgol Efrog a graddiais yn 1989 gyda BSc (Anrh) mewn Bioleg (Bioleg Celloedd a Biocemeg).
