Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n gweithio ar brosiectau sy'n cynnwys defnyddio dulliau ymchwil creadigol i ddeall bywyd bob dydd, awdurdod, a thrais mewn cymuned o favelas yn parth gogleddol Rio de Janeiro. Ar hyn o bryd rydym yn ysgrifennu'r ymchwil hon i fyny i mewn i fonograff cyd-awdur i'w gyhoeddi yn 2025. Ariannwyd yr ymchwil gan brosiect AHRC gwerth £253,000 rhwng 2020-2023. Cefnogir gwaith pellach yn y maes hwn gan Gymrodoriaeth Leverhulme o fis Medi 2025 i Awst 2026.
Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio ar astudiaeth o estheteg 'awdurdod anawdurdodol', wedi'i fframio trwy gyfres o arbrofion creadigol gyda ffurfiau a genres o ysgrifennu daearyddol academaidd. Mae'r gwaith hwn wedi'i ariannu gan amrywiol brosiectau AHRC, Leverhulme, a Chronfa Newton. Mae monograff ar y pwnc hwn, o'r enw Nonauthoritarian Authority: Speculative Exercises in Pluralizing Worlds ar y gweill, fel rhan o gyfres lyfrau y Royal Geographical Society / Institute of British Geographers a gyhoeddwyd gan LSE Press.
Mae gen i ddiddordeb mewn dadleuon mewn athroniaeth a hanesion daearyddiaeth, ac ar hyn o bryd rwy'n paratoi cyfrol wedi'i chyd-olygu, y Wiley-Blackwell Handbook of History and Philosophy of Geography, i'w chyhoeddi yn 2026.
Roedd fy ngwaith cynharach, a ariannwyd gan yr ESRC, yn canolbwyntio ar gelf a llenyddiaeth, biowleidyddiaeth, awdurdod, gwleidyddiaeth estheteg, a diwylliant trefol anarchaidd. Cyhoeddwyd y gwaith hwn mewn monograff o'r enw The Life of the City: Space, Humour, and the Experience of Truth in fin-de-siecle Montmartre (Ashgate, 2014), yn ogystal â chasgliadau wedi'u golygu gan gynnwys Authority, experience and the life of power (Routledge, 2014); Gofod, pŵer a'r tir comin: y frwydr dros ddyfodol amgen (Routledge, 2015); a Problemau cyfranogiad: myfyrdodau ar ddemocratiaeth, awdurdod, a'r frwydr dros fywyd cyffredin (2013, Gwasg ARN). Yn fwy diweddar, cyd-olygais rifyn arbennig o GeoHumanities on Spaces and Politics of Aesthetics
Mae gennyf hefyd ddiddordeb parhaus cryf mewn daearyddiaeth ôl-ddyneiddiol greadigol, a archwiliwyd yn benodol trwy Brosiect AHRC gwerth £55,000 'The voice of the other: A cartography of creative listening practices'. Arweiniodd ymchwil yn y maes hwn i ben gyda llyfr wedi'i olygu ar ffurf llyfr 'dewiswch eich antur eich hun', Listening with Nonhuman Others (Gwasg ARN, 2016), yn ogystal â rhifyn arbennig o GeoHumanities on Spaces of Attunement (adran arbennig GeoHumanities, 2016).
Empirig, mae fy ngwaith wedi canolbwyntio ar Baris, Hong Kong, a Rio de Janeiro. Rwyf wedi cyhoeddi ar bynciau amrywiol gan gynnwys biowleidyddiaeth, awdurdod, avant-gardes trefol, llenyddiaeth ym Mharis fin-de-siecle, daearyddiaeth greadigol, dulliau cyfranogol mwy na dynol ac arbrofol, y tir comin, cenedlaethau'r dyfodol, gwleidyddiaeth estheteg, seilwaith trefol yn Hong Kong trefedigaethol, estheteg tywod, a dulliau niwro-drefol arbrofol gan ddefnyddio biosynwyryddion ymateb croen galfanig symudol.
