Trosolwyg
I have a track record of laboratory based research specialising in ion channel research (biochemical, molecular biological and electrophysiological) involving quantitative research methods.
I have applied my research skills to several different areas including cancer research, asthma research although predominantly research into the function of an ion channel involved in heart disease.
I have now turned to utilising these transferable research skills into my current role as a clinical trial coordinator.I am currently working for Dr Nick Francis coordinator for Wales in a study set up in Southampton (ARTIC PC). This is an observational study with a nested double blind trial in which we are investigating the need for antibiotics in mild or moderate chest infections in children aged 6m-12yrs. .
