Dr Ruoqi Geng
Uwch Ddarlithydd mewn Rheoli Logisteg a Gweithrediadau a Chyfarwyddwr Rhaglen MSc Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi Cynaliadwy
Trosolwyg
Mae Ruoqi yn uwch ddarlithydd ac yn Gyfarwyddwr Rhaglen MSc Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi Cynaliadwy yn yr adran Rheoli Logisteg a Gweithredu. Ymunodd Ruoqi ag Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd ym mis Medi 2017 ar ôl mynychu Prifysgol Brunel lle dilynodd ei MSc a PhD. Yn dod o Cangzhou, dinas ddiwydiannol yn nhalaith Hebei, Tsieina gyda phroblemau amgylcheddol mawr, gan gynnwys llygredd aer, ymchwiliodd Ruoqi arferion cadwyn gyflenwi gweithgynhyrchu gwyrdd yn Tsieina ar gyfer ei hymchwil PhD. Yn ei thraethawd ymchwil o'r enw "An investigation of the adoption of green supply chain management practices in manufacturing sector in manufacturing sector in Asian emerging economies: Guanxi, antecedents and performance", archwiliodd rôl gymedroli Guanxi, norm diwylliannol yn Tsieina, fel grym sefydliadol anffurfiol ar y berthynas rhwng grymoedd sefydliadol ffurfiol a mabwysiadu arferion rheoli'r gadwyn gyflenwi werdd.
Prif ffocws ymchwil Ruoqi yw rheoli cadwyn gyflenwi gwyrdd mewn economïau sy'n dod i'r amlwg, yn enwedig yn Tsieina. Ar hyn o bryd, mae Tsieina yn gartref i saith o'r deg dinas fwyaf llygredig yn y byd. Tsieina hefyd yw cynhyrchydd mwyaf y byd o sylweddau sy'n disbyddu osôn a'r ail gynhyrchydd mwyaf o allyriadau nwyon tŷ gwydr. Felly, mae ysgolheigion wedi dadlau bod angen i China arwain her y byd yn mynd yn wyrdd. Mae Ruoqi hefyd yn cymryd rhan mewn ymchwil drawsddisgyblaethol gan gynnwys gweithrediadau cynaliadwy, amgylcheddau sefydliadol a marchnata perthynol. Mae hi'n arbenigwr mewn meta-ddadansoddi, dadansoddi clystyru, cloddio testun ac arbrofi dulliau ymchwil vignette.
