Ymunais â'r Ysgol Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol fel Darlithydd mewn Addysg ym mis Awst 2024. Cyn ymuno â Phrifysgol Caerdydd, bu'n dysgu ac yn ymchwilio ym Mhrifysgol Newcastle, Prifysgol Rhydychen, a Phrifysgol Zurich. Rwyf hefyd wedi dal swyddi ymweld yn Sefydliad Prifysgol Ewrop, Sciences Po, a Phrifysgol Rhydychen.
Mae fy ngwaith yn troi o gwmpas gwleidyddiaeth addysg. Mae un llinyn o fy ymchwil yn dadansoddi sut mae ideolegau, diddordebau proffesiynol ac amrywiaeth ddiwylliannol yn rhyngweithio i lunio addysg. Rwy'n defnyddio dulliau cymharol i nodi'n systematig safbwyntiau a diddordebau addysgol actorion allweddol, megis partïon, rhanddeiliaid a'r cyhoedd, a dulliau hanesyddol-gymharol i ddeall sut maent yn dod at ei gilydd i gynhyrchu newid ac amrywiad mewn systemau addysg. Mae fy ail linyn o ymchwil yn archwilio canlyniadau newid ac amrywiad o'r fath ar gyfer anghydraddoldeb cymdeithasol a diwylliannol. Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n cyd-arwain prosiectau sy'n archwilio effaith amrywiad addysgol ar anghydraddoldebau tiriogaethol yn Ewrop, ac effaith gwahanol fathau o breifateiddio ar amodau gwaith staff cymorth addysgol ledled y byd. Mae fy ymchwil wedi'i ariannu gan Sefydliad Gwyddoniaeth Cenedlaethol y Swistir, Sefydliad Fritz Thyssen ac Education International, ac enillodd fy erthygl "Multidimensionality matters", a ysgrifennwyd ar y cyd â Jane Gingrich a Daniel McArthur, Wobr CIES Bereday 2024 gan y Gymdeithas Addysg Gymharol a Rhyngwladol.
