Mae'r Athro Deborah Hann yn Athro mewn Cysylltiadau Cyflogaeth yn Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd. Ar hyn o bryd mae hi'n Ddeon Addysg a Myfyrwyr. Ar y cyd â'r Tîm Addysg ehangach, mae hi'n angerddol am ddarparu profiad addysg effeithiol a diddorol sy'n sicrhau bod myfyrwyr yn ffynnu tra yn Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd, ond hefyd ar ôl iddynt raddio.
Mae ei hymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar ddau brif faes:
- Datrys anghydfodau yn y gweithle
- Y Cyflog Byw Go Iawn fel math o reoleiddio sifil
Mae hi wedi ymgymryd ag ymchwil ar y cyd ag Acas, yr Asiantaeth Cysylltiadau Llafur, y Cyngor Meddyginiaeth Sifil, Citizens UK a'r Living Wage Foundation. Mae hi wedi cyhoeddi ei hymchwil yn fras gan gynnwys yn Industrial and Labour Relations Review, Work Employment and Society, Human Resource Management Journal ac Economic and Industrial Democracy. Mae hi'n aelod o'r Bwrdd Golygyddol ar gyfer Gwaith, Cyflogaeth a Chymdeithas. Mae ei hymchwil yn effeithiol iawn, fel y dangosir yn astudiaeth achos REF Impact. Mae hi'n ymwneud â hyrwyddo Cyflog Byw yng Nghymru a Chaerdydd ac mae'n Gomisiynydd Cyflog Byw.
Mae hi wedi addysgu ar bob lefel ac yn ymfalchïo mewn dulliau addysgu creadigol. Ar hyn o bryd mae'n gweithio gyda grŵp trefnu cymunedol lleol Citizens UK i gefnogi datblygiad dysgu dilys ac ymgorffori gwerth cyhoeddus yn arweinwyr yfory.
