I am currently undertaking a PhD research project into sub-classification of non-specific chronic low back pain (NSCLBP).
The aim of the research is to address the following research questions:
- Do patients with specific classifications of NSCLBP exhibit consistent movement patterns during a battery of functional tasks?
- Do patients with spinal osteoarthritis develop the same motor control impairment patterns regardless of underlying structural changes?
The project is part of the Arthritis Research UK Biomechanics and Bioengineering Centre, Cardiff University.
