Addysgu
Proffil addysgu
Rwy'n cyfrannu at addysgu drwy gydol pedair blynedd y rhaglen MPharm israddedig. Mae hyn yn cynnwys addysgu ac asesu ymarfer clinigol a fferylliaeth, gwyddoniaeth fformiwleiddio, arfarniad beirniadol a dulliau ymchwil. Rwyf hefyd yn goruchwylio prosiectau ymchwil yn y flwyddyn olaf, wedi'u lleoli yn yr adran ac wedi'u lleoli mewn amgylcheddau ymarfer trwy gydweithio â chydweithwyr sy'n seiliedig ar ymarfer.
Yn ogystal, rwy'n cyfrannu at yr MSc mewn Ymchwil Glinigol, ac MSc mewn Fferylliaeth Glinigol, gan addysgu dulliau ymchwil ansoddol a marcio traethodau hir MSc.
Bywgraffiad
Dechreuais fy mywyd fferylliaeth ym Mhrifysgol Caerfaddon, lle enillais fy BPharm ym 1996. Yn dilyn hyn, cynhaliais fy hyfforddiant cyn-gofrestru mewn fferyllfa gymunedol, gan weithio i Cohen's Chemists. Ym 1997, ar ôl cymhwyso fel fferyllydd cofrestredig, dechreuais fy PhD ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd dan oruchwyliaeth Dr. Cate Whittlesea a'r Athro D.K. Luscombe, tra'n dal i gynnal fy rôl broffesiynol trwy waith locwm wythnosol mewn fferylliaeth gymunedol. Ar ôl ennill fy PhD yn 2000, cynhaliais ychydig o ymchwil ddilynol am gyfnod byr cyn cael fy mhenodi'n Gymrawd Addysgu yn Ysgol Fferylliaeth Cymru (fel y'i gelwid bryd hynny) yn 2002.
Rwyf bellach yn uwch-ddarlithydd gyda chyfrifoldebau addysgu mewn amrywiaeth o feysydd ac ar draws pob blwyddyn o'r rhaglen israddedig, gyda ffocws penodol ar ddulliau ymchwil a sgiliau cyfathrebu/ymgynghori. Yn ogystal, rwy'n ymwneud â rhaglenni ôl-raddedig o fewn yr adran, gan addysgu dulliau ymchwil.
