Defnyddiodd fy noethuriaeth PhD, o'r enw 'Agenda ddysgu'r undeb ac adfywio undebau llafur yng Nghymru', ddulliau ansoddol a meintiol i ystyried gweithgarwch undebau llafur ar addysg a datblygu sgiliau mewn perthynas â theori trefnu undebau llafur. Rwyf eisoes wedi gweithio ar brosiectau aml-brifysgol a ariennir gan ESRC gan ddefnyddio Arolwg Cysylltiadau Cyflogaeth yn y Gweithle 2004 a 2011; a phrosiect a ariennir gan FP7 y Comisiwn Ewropeaidd, Cydlynu Cydlyniant yn Sector Cyhoeddus y Dyfodol (COCOPS).
Rwyf hefyd yn cadeirio Cymdeithas Staff Ymchwil Prifysgol Caerdydd (CURSA). Mae CURSA yn gweithio gydag uwch arweinwyr i ddarparu amgylchedd colegol, teg a chefnogol i ymchwilwyr yn y Brifysgol. Ei nod yw:
